Jean Kane Named ULI Minnesota Chair AND One of MSP Region’s Ten Most Admired CEOs

ULI Minnesota Welcomes Jean Kane as Chair

Jean Kane, CEO of Colliers International Minneapolis-St. Paul, is the new Chair of the ULI Minnesota District Council, which serves Urban Land Institute (ULI) members in the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro and across Minnesota. ULI Minnesota is a trusted convener that supports the Regional Council of Mayors, Advisory Services, Product Councils and leadership development initiatives. Its mission is to engage public and private sector leaders to foster collaboration, share knowledge, and join in meaningful strategic action. As ULI Minnesota Chair, Kane will serve on a voluntary basis for a 2-year term that ends on June 30, 2019.

“I am thrilled to be serving as Chair for ULI Minnesota. ULI MN offers a unique opportunity to cultivate partnerships and create healthy and sustainable communities we can all be proud of,” Kane said.

Kane is an industry leader in the commercial real estate sector with a reputation for listening, providing straightforward counsel, and executing and delivering results. Through hands-on leadership, Kane fosters a results-oriented culture that encourages creative thinking. She actively oversees and influences the operations of Colliers International Minneapolis-St. Paul’s real estate services, including; Brokerage and Real Estate Management, Architecture, Project Management, and Facility Services. ULI Minnesota looks forward to her deep experience and relationships across real estate industries helping the organization continue to advance its mission.

Kane was also recently honored as one of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Most Admired CEOs. This is an award that recognizes not only a person’s business accomplishments, but also their “outstanding contributions to their industry and our community.” ULI Minnesota congratulates Jean on this well-deserved recognition and looks forward to her deep experience and relationships across real estate industries helping the organization continue to advance its mission.
