The Minnesota Climate Adaptation Awards, presented by the MN Climate Adaptation Partnership, recognize and celebrate exceptional achievements in leadership, education, research, policies, and practices that improve resilience and develop, advance, or implement climate adaptation strategies. 2017 Nominations are now being accepted in the categories of individual, organization, institution, and business. To submit a nomination, send one nomination letter and two letters of support that address the accomplishments and impacts of the nominee’s work to Mark Seeley (firstname.lastname@example.org) by March 1, 2017. Award recipients will be presented with honors at the 2017 MN Climate Adaptation Partnership Conference Opening Reception on May 8, 2017. The Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership Conference (MCAP) will be held May 9, 2017 at the River Center in St. Paul. This annual Climate Adaptation Conference is dedicated to sharing knowledge and experience related to climate adaptation practices, specific to Minnesota, that improve the environment and quality of life in our State. The MCAP Conference will include approximately 30 symposia and is held the day prior to the National Adaptation Forum (NAF), which also takes place at the River Center, May 9-11.
