Mayor Tabke named ’40 under 40′

Shakopee Mayor Brad Tabke was named a “40 under 40” honoree by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal (MSPBJ) on Monday afternoon. The publication recognizes 40 young professionals each year for their work and contributions to the Twin Cities community. A new interactive website will allow citizens of 20 Minnesota cities to track how their communities are reducing greenhouse gas emissions — and how they are not. Hines Design Competition Winner Annouced

A joint team of graduate students representing Kansas State University, the University of Missouri at Kansas City, and the University of Kansas has been selected as the winner of the 2013 Gerald D. Hines Student Urban Design Competition. This three-university team took the $50,000 top prize with their proposed long-term development plan for a downtown Minneapolis site adjacent to the new Minnesota Vikings Stadium location.
