Learn how driverless cars create dramatic possibilities for people and places. John Eddy (see bio below) will also provide  information on cost, ownership, pace of development, and policy Impacts.

Keynote Address:  John Eddy, Principal, Arup
John Eddy is a member of Arup’s Americas Board and a leader in Arup’s irnfrastructure practice based in San Francisco. He is also the project director for the Invest in Arup global research challenge that investigates the opportunities for the world  to change with driverless vehicles dominating the vehicle market.  Eddy has over 29 years of experience in the design and management of transportation and building projects. During this time he has worked on projects as diverse as the Tappan Zee Bridge I-87/I-287 Corridor Environmental Impact Report in New York, and the Bay Meadows transit oriented development in San Mateo California – the first development endorsed by the Sierra Club.
