    The ULI Minnesota Young Leaders Group invites you to join them for an in-person Golf for Beginners Lesson and Happy Hour at Brookview in Golden Valley on June 9th, 2022. Interested in learning the fundamentals of the game of golf? Need some practice as you get back out on the green for the season? Want to network with fellow young leaders and spend the afternoon in the sunshine? You won't want to miss this event!
     
     
    Join ULI on June 9th for a 1.5 hour golf lesson led by golf instructor, Alexandra Tegels:
    • 90-Minute Group Session which includes a combination of etiquette, putting, chipping, and irons for a full golf overview.
    • Clubs are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
    • Water is provided.
    • What to bring/wear: Comfortable clothes and athletic shoes - doesn't need to be golf specific apparel, but please dress for the weather.
    Following the golf lesson, we will meet up with other ULI Young Leaders for a networking happy hour on the Brookview Evergreen Deck. Golfers enjoy 2 complimentary drinks and light appetizers. You will also be entered for the chance to win a Top Golf gift card!
     
    This event is a Young Leaders exclusive, open to ULI members, students, and non-members age 35 and under.  

    The golf lesson will be cancelled in the event of severe weather. The happy hour is planned to be outdoors only, but may have the ability to shift inside if weather prevents use of the evergreen deck.

    Golf Instructor,

    Alex Tegels is a lifelong student of the game and has been teaching for nearly 10 years. She focuses on young golfers, making the game fun and getting then excited to keep learning! Prior to returning to the Minneapolis area, Alex worked for the Southern California PGA on player development programming, teaching lessons throughout the community to interest new players in the game. In addition to private lessons, she offers afterschool enrichment programs throughout the western metro. The goal is for players to walk away from the lesson feeling confident and excited to play!
