The City of Hopkins is recruiting for an Associate Planner. This position is an entry-level planning and community development position responsible for supporting the vision set out in the Comprehensive Plan for the City of Hopkins. Responsibilities may include facilitating land use approvals, loan and grants administration; multi-modal transportation and implementation, coordination of events, community engagement, code enforcement activities and special projects.

Qualified candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Urban Studies, Public Administration or related field; 1 year planning or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
