28th Annual CTS Transportation Research Conference on 11/2

The Center for Transportation Studies will host its 28th annual Transportation Research Conference on November 2nd at the Commons Hotel on the University of Minnesota campus. Check out the 2017 conference website:

About the Conference

The annual conference convenes researchers and practitioners from Minnesota and the Upper Midwest to highlight new learning, emerging ideas, and the latest innovations in transportation. Attendees will learn about research findings, implementation efforts, and engagement activities related to a variety of transportation topics.

Registration and Cost


Conference attendees will be eligible for Professional Development Hours (PDHs) and 13.75 American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) maintenance credits. A list of the sessions approved for AICP credit is available on the event web page.

Parking and Transit

Valet parking is available through the The Commons Hotel. Parking is also available in the Washington Avenue Ramp or the University Avenue Ramp. For driving directions, please visit the hotel website.

The hotel is located approximately one block east of the Green Line’s East Bank Station on Washington Avenue. For information about bus routes serving the University of Minnesota’s Minneapolis campus, please visit the Metro Transit website.
