ULI MN Hosts UrbanPlan for 55 Edina Public Officials
Through implementing green building practices and facilitating a shift to healthier, more livable communities, land use and built environment professionals play a lead role in protecting our communities against the impacts of climate change. Celebrate your work or recognize a colleague —apply for a 2018 MN Climate Adaptation Award! The Minnesota Climate Adaptation Partnership (MCAP) is seeking nominations to recognize achievements in leadership, education, research, policies, or practices that improve resilience and advance climate adaptation in Minnesota. They strongly encourage you to submit a nomination to recognize exemplary work by an individual, organization, institution, or business. The submission process requires only (1) letter of nomination and (2) supporting letters. Nominations are due via email by September 12, 2018. For more information, please visit the MCAP 2018 Conference website or see the Call for Nominations flyer.
Awards will be presented at a luncheon celebration during the fifth Minnesota Climate Adaptation Conference on November 14, 2018, at the Continuing Education and Conference Center on the University of Minnesota campus in St. Paul, Minnesota. This year’s conference promises to be an outstanding venue for learning from others and celebrating the accomplishments of Minnesota’s climate adaptation leaders (registration is available here).
