Featured speaker, Carrie Johnson, Service Area Director of Avivo's Ending Homelessness division will be speaking about Avivo Village, an indoor community of secure, private “tiny houses” created to provide shelter to individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness. What innovations helped bring this pilot model to fruition and what challenges are faced in pursing this form of temporary housing?

Featured speaker, Jim Erchul, Executive Director of Dayton's Bluff Neighborhood Housing Services will be speaking about Village on Rivoli, a former brownfield site transformed into a model of environmental sustainability and home ownership opportunity in the heart of Saint Paul's Railroad Island. Along with innovation comes risk.  Jim is willing to address this work in an open conversation that both celebrates the innovations of delivering a new housing model, while also acknowledging that there are always challenges to overcome in doing this work.
