Join the Metro Transit Office of Transit Oriented Development for Reimagining the Winter City – a half-day mini conference for designers, planners, engineers, and developers in and around the Minneapolis – St. Paul region to come together and better understand the immense opportunities to reshape our urban spaces to become true four-season cities. We can build vibrancy, increase mobility, and support transit service in all seasons of the year with the right plans, projects, and programming.
REGISTER AT THE LINK BELOW
You’ll hear from a team of planners, urban designers, and engineers at Stantec, who have worked in cities throughout Canada and Western Europe to create outdoor cafes, recreation areas, and a multitude of other approaches to make cities more walkable, livable, and happy throughout all four seasons. Stantec will also address the maintenance, operations, and planning processes to create and maintain cities that function smoothly in the Winter.
Following the Stantec team, enjoy some winter trivia and hear from the following speakers (and more!):
- Max Musicant and John Pederson at the Musicant Group
- Ben Shardlow, Director of Public Realm Initiatives at the Minneapolis Downtown Improvement District
- Carol Hejl, Landscape Architect at Metro Transit
